Elba Benítez Gallery

Since 1990, Galería Elba Benítez has freely embraced the diverse and ever-changing facets of contemporary art. The gallery exhibits artists working with a wide range of media – installation, sculpture, video, photography, painting, performance, collective action – while remaining committed to art’s fluid capacity to change with changing times.

For their 30th anniversary the gallery comissioned us to re-imagine their visual identity, creating a new logo, graphic identity, presentation video and website.

Elba Benítez is one of Madrid’s most internationally renowned art galleries. Its iconic space in Madrid, inside a courtyard in the Salesas district, transports the visitor to a place of calm and serenity from which to contemplate and discover the work of the best contemporary artists. We translated that feeling with a video produced in collaboration with Asoko Studio.

The redesign of its digital identity arose at a post-pandemic moment in which the gallery’s habitual channels of communication no longer worked. The website tries to transmit this special bodily sensation produced by its space through the subtle use of white and grey and the leisurely dialogue of texts and images.
