Javier Peña – Ibañez

The main challenge in building the digital identity of Javier Peña – Ibañez, an interdisciplinary professional who focuses his activity on directing, curating and disseminating cultural projects of very different formats, scales and locations, was precisely the integration of all these very different projects.

We decided to use the abstraction of colour as the protagonist of identity, thus disassociating ourselves from the sometimes confusing images. Each project concentrates on a colour, sometimes linked to its own materiality - in the case of the more installation-based projects - and sometimes to its identity - in the case of the curatorial projects.

When we enter a project, the matrix expands dynamically and places us inside it, a world of relations that allows us to navigate between projects in all directions. This graphic system that constructs the identity of the website also defines the way we navigate through it, making it clear that all the projects form part of a whole, coexisting and feeding back into each other.
