HYPER STUDIO

MMMAD Madrid’s Urban Digital Arts Festival

Focusing on the intersection between digital culture and public space, MMMAD Festival unfolds a programme of exhibitions, installations, open calls, workshops and conferences every year.

MMMAD Festival is a non-profit project founded in 2019 by HYPER STUDIO with the aim of exhibiting, disseminating and thinking about digital creation. Focused on the intersection between digital culture and public space, the festival deploys a programme consisting of exhibitions, installations, open calls, workshops and conferences throughout the city every year.

MMMAD was created with the aim of bringing digital art closer to the general public, through the development of actions in the public space, in the open air; of innovating in formats and spaces for digital art, creating hybrid experiences between the physical and digital worlds that escape from conventional formats; of transforming public space into a space for digital arts, converting urban advertising media into cultural spaces, and of supporting emerging talent, programming young artists and creators alongside established national and international artists.
