This Saturday, September 7th, ‘Casa Banchel’ exhibition space will host “SOLO SHOW” by Casa Antillón, a collective exhibition that brings together 60 national and international artists, both emerging and established. “SOLO SHOW” will last only 24 hours, so it will hold a tension between a constant opening and closing. The exhibition, which will take place from 6 am on September 7th until 6 am on September 8th, not only will showcase plastic arts: throughout the day, different performers, djs and visual artists will activate the space. The spectator, therefore, will have a unique experience depending on the moment in which he/she attends this performative event.

Casa Banchel is an inhabited exhibition space that focuses on young artists. The space is located in the neighborhood of Carabanchel in Madrid, one of the epicenters of emerging art in the capital.

On this occasion, in addition to the peculiarity of time the time limits, the curators of Casa Antillón innovate with the spatial understanding of the artists in the exhibition: the creators have chosen where and how to install their works individually and freely, so the result is the sum of 50 personal and space-specific proposals.

Casa Antillón is an initiative of the curators and architects Ismael Santos, Marta Ochoa, Yosi Negrín and Emmanuel Álvarez.
